Plans call for a resource-efficient, modern new building on the site with a warehouse area of just under 27,000 m², plus approximately 900 m² of office space and about 3,200 m² of mezzanine space. The property is expected to receive a “Very Good” BREEAM sustainability rating. The buildings will therefore be particularly sustainable, both during construction and operation.
Highly efficient water systems and LED lighting systems with motion sensors reduce water and electricity consumption. To preserve the natural habitats of flora and fauna, the property will feature not only high-quality landscaping measures but also a retention basin designed to mimic natural conditions, which will serve as a wetland habitat. Of the property’s total area of just under 64,000 m², approximately 15,000 m² of forested land will be preserved. In addition, ten electric vehicle charging stations will be installed in the passenger car parking lot.
